    Deanna is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pittsburg State University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Prior to joining Responsive Centers in January 2004, Deanna worked for nine years in an area Community Mental Health Center, with six of them as Director of Children and Family Services.

    Deanna enjoys working with people of all ages, and has significant experience with children, adolescents, and families. She is trained in the areas of attachment, behavior disorders, mood disorders, childhood onset bipolar disorder, family issues (divorce, parenting, and discipline), abuse/trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and pervasive developmental disorders. She has created and facilitated an educational program about parenting during and after divorce entitled PROUD (Parent Responsibilities of Understanding Divorce) and is certified in Brain Gym. Her practice includes individual and family therapy.
