    Gary received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kansas, and has been in practice in the Kansas City area since 1975. During his graduate studies, Gary received his clinical training at Bert Nash Mental Health Center in Lawrence, Kansas, and at Western Missouri Mental Health Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon his graduation, Gary worked with adolescents and their families at one area Community Mental Health Center and is currently the Outpatient Clinical Supervisor with another Community Mental Health Center.

    Since 1989, Gary has maintained a private practice. At Responsive Centers, Gary provides outpatient therapy to children, adolescents and adults. He also has extensive post-graduate training in both marital and family therapy. In addition to his work with couples and families, Gary provides therapy to individuals regarding anxiety or mood disorders, trauma, and domestic violence. He is an approved provider for a number of managed care companies and employee assistance programs.
