    Dr. Chinn is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified School Psychologist in private practice in Overland Park, Kansas. He has practiced in public school settings for over 20 years and for the past 14 years has maintained a private practice with the Responsive Centers group. Dr. Chinn earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. Specialist and Master's degrees were earned at Wichita State University and his Bachelor's degree was completed at Kansas State University. He also completed post-doctoral training in family therapy at the Family Institute of Kansas City. In addition to his public school and private practice work, Dr. Chinn was formally an adjunct professor in psychology and education at Ottawa University and provides clinical supervision of school psychology graduate students for the University of Kansas.

    In his private practice Dr. Chinn provides therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. He has particular expertise in working with blended families, troubled adolescents, and assessment and treatment of learning difficulties.

    Dr. Chinn is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists. He is licensed to practice in the State of Kansas.
